So there we all were, deep within the dark, damp confines of the Anvil. In the room ahead of us, several evil minions and two warlocks lurked, tense with expectation at the thought of impending battle.
And then - something went terribly wrong.
Longwind snuck up on the enemy in order to gather us as close as possible before the skirmish could begin, but alas, the gather spell backfired. Longwind and Imoen became trapped within the walls of the cave. A myst ring and finvarra's belt were stolen from them by the evil cavern residents, who mysteriously disappeared into the dark shadows. The rest of the group became scattered and lost between two rooms.
We had come too far to give up now! What to do? It took a careful amount of planning, and a few casts home to get those trapped within the walls back out in the open. The minions were lured out of hiding by gold carefully planted out in the open. A battle was fought in full, neither side giving any ground. We emerged victorious, reclaimed our lost items, and continued on to the chests, which had been filled with a few mundane helms and a Lady of the Realm hat.
There's always difficult challenges to face in the Realm. The very caves can prove to be dangerous - not including the residents. A few lessons were learned the hard way. One - stand still when you're expecting to be gathered. Two - the Realm monsters are greedy and will come out to pick up ANYTHING on the floor. When you're not where you think you are, go home and redo the gather. (kind of like a reboot!)

I thought everyone might like to see Tuebor's kittens! The mostly black one is Midnight. The tan and white one is Gus, and the white and black one in the back is Aggi.
